Cheesy bread is what happens when the kitchen puts pizza cheese on the breadstick dough. It is pulled apart rather than dipped, and it is one of the few sides on a chain menu that people order for its own sake rather than as a filler.
Where it fits on value
Two to three dollars more than plain breadsticks at most stores, which is a large percentage increase but a small absolute one. Inside a flat-rate bundle it costs the same as plain breadsticks, which makes it the obvious pick — if the deal charges one price for either, always take the cheese.
Ordering notes
It is the side most damaged by a long delivery. Melted cheese on bread sets as it cools and the texture changes completely; twenty minutes in a box is enough to notice. On a carryout order it is excellent, on a forty-minute delivery it is merely fine.
Ask for marinara rather than the default garlic sauce if you want to cut through the richness — most stores will swap the included dip at no charge, and it makes a genuinely better pairing with a cheese-heavy side.
