What you are actually getting

Typically pepperoni, Italian sausage, ham and bacon, sometimes with beef as well. The meats are pre-cooked and portioned, so the variable is coverage rather than quality — some stores build it heavier than others.

Where it fits on value

At full menu price it is the most expensive standard pizza on the board. Inside a two-for deal it becomes reasonable, and inside a carryout flat-price offer it is often outstanding value, because you are paying the same fixed price for the most heavily topped pizza available. If a store runs a flat-rate any-topping carryout offer, this is the item to order under it.

Ordering notes

It is a heavy pizza and it cooks slower than a plain one. A well-done bake helps the base cope with the weight of topping on it. It also reheats poorly compared with a simpler pizza — the fat renders out on the second heating and the texture suffers — so order the size you will actually finish rather than assuming leftovers.

Calorie-wise this sits at the top of the pizza menu. If that matters to you, a thin crust version cuts a meaningful amount per slice without changing the toppings.
